Job Description
Nelson Labs is hiring a Lab Analyst to conduct laboratory testing under the supervision of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will follow established procedures and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing in a supervised setting, adhering to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately record data from testing results with a strong attention to detail.
- Communicate any unexpected issues that arise during testing to lab leadership.
- Participate in quality event reviews to understand the root cause of unexpected results or deviations.
- Provide additional support to the lab as needed, including ordering supplies and reviewing documents.
- This role requires physical activities, including standing, traversing various lab locations, and lifting upto 45 pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred Experience (not required):
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Life Science, such as Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
- Previous laboratory experience.
- Work Schedule:
- Shift: Early Day Shift
- Start Time: 6/7 am (specifics to be coordinated during the interview).
- Days Worked: Monday through Friday.
