Job Description
This Level II Lab Analyst conducts testing following established procedures using GLP and GMP under the supervision of the Study Director. Responsibilities include recording data, maintaining sample traceability, and notifying the Study Director of any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. This role reports to the POD section and requires flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
Experience & Education
Required:
- 1-2+ years of relevant Production Laboratory Testing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Life Science
- Willingness to rotate between teams and adapt to change
Preferred:
- Experience cross-training with other sections
- Rotational assignments supporting efforts within the section or other teams
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting sections requiring additional testing
- Identifying deficits in employee volume and supplementing section efforts
- Rotating among teams/projects for balanced support
Essential Duties
- Perform GLP and non-GLP testing under supervision
- Order supplies and ensure testing compliance with approved procedures
- Participate in quality events and assist with controlled documents
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional laboratory environment with exposure to biological and chemical hazards. Employees must adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
The job requires various physical activities, including standing, sitting, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Protective equipment is required while working.
