Job Description:
The QC Associate I will support Stanford’s clinical manufacturing efforts by performing microbiology and biologics QC testing, maintaining records, ensuring GMP compliance, and supporting documentation for cell and gene therapy products. This role is key to ensuring the safety and quality of therapies developed at Stanford’s LCGM.
Key Responsibilities for BS Life Science jobs at Stanford :
- Conduct microbiological and biologics testing (Flow Cytometry, PCR, LAL, etc.)
- Maintain detailed QC records and documentation
- Support SOP development and equipment validation
- Participate in out-of-specification investigations and audits
- Handle QC logistics, sample shipments, and supply inventory
Qualifications for BS Life Science jobs at Stanford :
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
- 1 year of lab or QC experience or equivalent combination
Preferred:
- Experience in clinical labs and QC testing methods
- Familiarity with GMP, ICH, ISO, FDA, Ph. Eu guidelines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficient in problem-solving and time management
PAY RANGE: $36.73 to $42.50 hourly in the California Bay area.
