Role Summary:
The Research Assistant will support experimental design, data collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting within the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department. This position involves working with instruments such as LC-MS/MS and HPLC to gather and interpret preclinical compound data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with scientists and associates in DMPK daily.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and records.
- Develop compound analysis methods using LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and spectrophotometry.
- Conduct compound testing in biological matrices and solvent systems.
- Analyze data using software tools including Sciex Analyst, DiscoveryQuant, GraphPad Prism, and Excel.
- Prepare scientific reports and communicate findings with collaborators and clients.
- Assist with laboratory maintenance tasks such as buffer preparation, cleaning, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete projects on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO settings preferred.
- Experience with LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and bioanalytical studies is highly desirable.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of biotech lab equipment and techniques.
- Familiarity with quantitative analysis and biological sample processing is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $62,400 to $70,000 annually.
