Job Description
The Biomanufacturing Associate I – GMP will support a start-up GMP facility in Raleigh, NC, with a focus on tissue engineering and manufacturing. The associate will play a vital role in bioprocessing operations, including the production of decellularized scaffolds, handling tissue preparations, and maintaining cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate bioprocess equipment in compliance with cGMP, OSHA, and SOPs.
- Receive, inspect, and prepare tissues for decellularization.
- Handle raw materials and prepare tools, solutions, and assemblies.
- Wash, autoclave, and sanitize supplies, as well as cleanroom environments.
- Perform assays to ensure compliance of materials and solutions.
- Document production activities in Master Batch Records, EBRs, and logbooks.
- Support scale-up processes and troubleshooting.
- Assist with maintaining equipment and lab cleanliness.
- Participate in continuous GMP training.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior GMP manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in tissue handling, dissection, and aseptic technique.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $20/hr – $30/hr (based on experience).
