Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Microbiology, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience as a lab analyst with a focus on microbiology, preferably in a pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and materials.
Position Summary:
The Microbiology Analyst role at Catalent involves coordinating and conducting laboratory activities related to microbial analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the research and development of pharmaceutical products in a scientific team environment.
The Role:
- Sample and test raw materials, finished products, and stability samples utilizing microbial methods.
- Responsible for Environmental Monitoring (EM) sampling and testing.
- Perform routine monitoring/calibration of lab equipment and prepare media and reagents.
- Train and assist laboratory personnel, ensuring compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and cleanliness, and demonstrate leadership in safety practices.
