Job Description:
GenScript ProBio, a global leader in gene and cell therapy CDMO services, is seeking a proactive and skilled Associate Scientist (Protein Sciences) for its Singapore facility. This hybrid roleย combinesย technical R&D executionย withย client-focused coordination, ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in antibody production and a passion for process improvement.
As an Associate Scientist, youโll assist in end-to-end biologics developmentโfrom upstream cell culture to downstream purification and data analyticsโwhile supporting client project execution and technical proposal drafting.
Key Responsibilities:
R&D Project Support

Conduct lab experiments, analyze results, and prepare reports

Support Senior Scientists in process development and troubleshooting

Maintain accurate lab records
Cross-Functional Coordination

Assist in tech transfer and batch record authoring

Collaborate with production, QC, and OE teams

Analyze process trends and recommend optimizations
Customer Support & Order Management

Convert client needs into actionable technical plans

Create technical proposals covering timelines, materials, and testing

Track project progress and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders

Help resolve technical queries and escalate issues when needed
Required Qualifications:

Bachelorโs/Masterโs in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, or related field

Experience in CHO cell culture, protein purification, and analytical methods like SDS-PAGE, HPLC, and antibody assays

Strong data analysis and scientific communication skills

Minimum 2 years in antibody R&D, technical services, or biologics process development
