Job Description:
Labcorp is looking for an experienced Clinical Lab Professional to join our team as a Technologist at Troy Lab in Troy, MI. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment and contribute to our mission of “Improving Health, Improving Lives.”
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
- Report accurate and timely test results to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) degree.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems.
