Job Description:
The Manager Clinical Operations at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for the operational management and successful country execution of all phases of clinical trials within assigned therapeutic areas or specific roles. They oversee resource allocation, adherence to timelines and budget, compliance with relevant SOPs, policies, HCC, and local regulatory requirements. This role supports the Country Head in shaping and managing the local organizational structure for optimal efficiency and effective issue management.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide line management for direct reports and talent development
- Forecast resource needs and oversee vendors
- Lead organizational changes and communicate effectively
- Oversight of clinical trials execution and monitoring through all phases
- Drive innovative solutions and process improvements within assigned areas
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, minimum of 5 years clinical research experience, effective communication and leadership skills, knowledge of drug development and regulatory requirements, mentoring/coaching experience, proficiency in decision-making and financial management, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
