CTA Job Description

CTA job opportunity available within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group at VHIR. The selected candidate will contribute to the project: “Estudio de la seguridad y eficacia de la administración tópica (colirio) de sitagliptina para tratar los estadios iniciales de la retinopatía diabética” (EyeSit@, ICI20/00129).

The successful candidate will provide support in data and case management, as well as administrative activities related to the group’s research projects. The position will work closely with Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Nurses, and Sub-investigators to support the conduct and management of clinical trials and other research projects.

Qualifications

Biology job applicants and graduates from related scientific disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields).
  • Fluency in Spanish, Catalan, and English, both written and spoken.
  • Good computer literacy and database management skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in applied statistics using statistical software packages such as Stata, R, or SPSS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience and Skills
