Cytotechnologist Job Description:
Are you looking for a career as a Cytotechnologist? Join BJC at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and become an integral part of our Surgical Pathology team. As a Cytotechnologist, you will deliver precise and reliable laboratory results that positively impact patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen preparation, staining, and screening of cytological specimens
- Screen GYN and non-GYN cytology samples accurately
- Assist with fine needle aspirations on/off campus
- Maintain quality control of equipment and troubleshoot as necessary
Minimum Requirements for Cytotechnologist Job:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or related field
- Less than 2 years of experience
- Licensed and Certified as CT-ASCP or equivalent
Additional Information About the Role:
- Day Shift 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
