About the Role:
As a Quality and Food Safety Supervisor at Kellanova, you will lead initiatives to ensure our products meet the highest safety and quality standards. Your role will involve overseeing compliance programs, managing food safety plans, and driving continuous improvement efforts within the plant.
A Taste of What Youโll Be Doing
- Compliance Leadership โ Ensure microbial program and sanitation compliance, including HACCP, mandatory training, line validations, and third-party audits.
- Program Management โ Oversee allergen and inspection programs, manage the siteโs Food Safety Plan, and maintain the QFS Lab Budget.
- Continuous Improvement โ Drive HPO initiatives and ensure adherence to SOPs and KPIs. Support and train the siteโs QFS SOP database.
- Team Development โ Lead, train, and support QFS Technicians, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
Weโre Looking for Someone With
- Bachelorโs degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality and food safety
- HACCP, SQF, and PCQI experience
- Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution
Compensation
The annual salary range is $78,300 โ $102,795 based on factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are available.
