About Piper Companies:
Piper Companies has a Manufacturing Associate I/II opportunity supporting one of our highly renowned pharmaceutical partners in the Gaithersburg, MD area. This role works with upstream and downstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes in a cGMP environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operates manufacturing equipment such as incubators, bioreactors, filtration skids, chromatography skids, mixers, centrifuges, washers, autoclaves, tanks, and testing instruments.
- Performs equipment cleaning/sanitization and calibration.
- Supports process improvement initiatives and updates operating procedures.
- Records manufacturing activities accurately following cGMP documentation standards.
- Reviews Production Records for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 0-2+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Biology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or related field.
- Experience in upstream and downstream/all-stream manufacturing processes preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: approximately $25.00 – $35.00 hourly
