Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality control and ensure test order accuracy and prompt service delivery.
- Coordinate logistics for sample deliveries and pick-ups.
- Review, transcribe, and enter patient demographics and specimen data into the laboratory information system.
- Recognize and resolve specimen problems by following standard operating procedures.
- Maintain specimen storage, chain of custody, and confidentiality.
- Document accurate records of communication with customers and medical staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biological sciences, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in the biotech or healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of PHI, HIPAA guidelines, and medical terminology.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Abilities:
