About the Role
As a Molecular Biology Co-op within Sanofiโs Biochemistry platform, youโll gain hands-on experience in molecular cloning, DNA assembly, and vaccine candidate characterization. Working alongside experts, youโll contribute to the design and optimization of vaccines and learn the latest technologies in molecular biology and laboratory automation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete specific laboratory research tasks under supervision and demonstrate high productivity and consistency.
- Learn about the fields of Molecular biology by reading scientific literature and interacting with supervisor and team.
- Maintain and update experiment notebooks according to QA requirements.
- Participate in lab and equipment maintenance, and re-stocking lab supplies.
- Attend group meetings and present data.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in life or health sciences.
- Must be enrolled in school the semester following the internship/co-op.
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- R&D experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, or lab automated systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and on a team.
