Position Summary:
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) is seeking a full-time (12-month) laboratory coordinator.
Job Duties:
- Preparing and coordinating equipment and supplies for multiple laboratories.
- Ordering equipment and supplies for the department.
- Maintaining prep rooms and online chemical inventory.
- Supervising undergraduate students in the prep room.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree in Biological Sciences or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience with microbiology, molecular biology, and genetics.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs.
