Are you mechanically inclined and looking to be part of a collaborative, science-driven team? We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician – Sample Generation to join our organization and support the execution of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) studies in a dynamic lab environment. In this role, you’ll contribute to key laboratory operations, ensuring data accuracy, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Laboratory Technician Job Opportunity – Responsibilities:
- Generate study samples in accordance with project requirements
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Maintain logs and complete documentation (Chain of Custody forms, Run Sheets, etc.)
- Clean and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment
- Conduct daily safety inspections and participate in daily stretches
- Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the lab
- Implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and follow SOPs, study plans, and test methods
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times
- Collaborate with team members and support Sample Preparation as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Laboratory Technician Job Opportunity – Qualifications:
Education:
- Degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.
Experience:
- Internship or hands-on lab experience while in university
- Previous laboratory or manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Experience in nicotine testing is a plus, will be working with puffing machinery
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communicator with the ability to adapt to change
- Works well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
