Job Overview
Neogen Corporation is seeking a Research Technician to join our Microbiology Product Research and Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the innovation, development, and validation of novel food safety solutions while supporting existing products within Neogen’s Microbiology portfolio.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biological Science, or related field
Preferred:
- 1–2 years of research and/or laboratory experience
- Knowledge of foodborne pathogens and microbiological culture media
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental testing of product performance
- Order necessary materials and prepare reagents
- Record experimental results and maintain proper documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting commercialized product performance
- Develop working knowledge of Neogen’s products and processes
