The Position
Roche Diagnostics acquired Stratos Genomics in 2020 for its unique chemistry, which advances DNA sequencing using nanopores. We are seeking a Lab Assistant 1 to join our team in Seattle, supporting the development of novel DNA sequencing technologies.
The Opportunity:
- Order and track laboratory supplies.
- Maintain and repair equipment and pipetman.
- Perform routine laboratory maintenance and upkeep.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and improve processes, and execute other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel proficiency.
- Detail-oriented with good organization skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.
The expected salary range for this position in Seattle, Washington, is $37,800 to $70,200. Benefits and other job-related factors are provided in accordance with the Company’s policies. Relocation benefits are not included.

- You have a Bachelorโs degree focused on Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering.
