Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and verify specimens based on set laboratory standards.
- Execute routine and advanced molecular microbiology tests.
- Operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results.
- Conduct quality control and preventative maintenance checks.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety protocols and documentation standards.
- Assist in specimen processing and manage reagent inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemical or Biological Science, or related field.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred (not mandatory).
- New grads are welcome โ Full training provided.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must pass standardized color vision screening.
- Willingness to work overtime or alternative shifts if required.
