Job Summary:
Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Molecular Biology Analyst to join our Safety Assessment team in Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for performing critical sample analysis, data interpretation, and documentation in a GLP lab setting. You will work with high-end instruments and technologies that support global pharmaceutical development and regulatory submissions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting DNA and RNA extraction, qPCR, RT-qPCR, and ddPCR using QuantStudio, Nanostring, and Maxwell platforms
- Assisting in method development, sample validation, and optimization
- Documenting experimental data as per GLP and quality standards
- Collaborating with scientists to fine-tune assay conditions and performance
- Supporting molecular analysis for drug safety and preclinical research
Candidate Profile:
- DEC or B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biology, Immunology, or Biochemistry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting
- Enthusiasm to contribute to meaningful drug development projects
