Job Description:

The Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory (CSL) focuses on studying the impacts of sleep and circadian rhythms on human performance and physiology. We are currently seeking a research assistant to conduct research studies on sleep behavior and wellbeing in adolescents. The responsibilities include collecting and processing biological specimens, operating study equipment, monitoring research protocols, applying EEG electrodes, administering neurobehavioral tests, participant recruitment, and data analyses.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, life sciences, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with adolescent participants and their parents.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience with programming languages like R is preferable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by research events.
  • Interest in pursuing further education (e.g., PhD or medical degree).
