About the Role
The Senior Lab Associate, Bioreactor Process Design, will play a key role in supporting bioreactor operations, equipment preparation, and laboratory maintenance. This role offers opportunities to work on impactful projects, collaborate with scientists, and contribute to bioprocess innovation. The ideal candidate is curious, motivated, and eager to explore new challenges in a dynamic research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain bench-scale bioreactors and related equipment.
- Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of bioreactor systems.
- Gain proficiency in bioreactor control systems, software, and analytical tools.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, safety, and inventory.
- Autoclave materials and coordinate lab logistics.
- Support solution preparation and cross-functional lab activities.
- Collaborate with vendors and assist in troubleshooting material challenges.
Qualifications Required for Life Sciences Jobs at Evotec
- Associate degree in a scientific field with 2+ years of lab experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
