About the Role:
The Food Safety Quality Specialist at McCain is responsible for managing finished goods positive release, analyzing data, recommending standards modifications, and working closely with the Quality Team to ensure product quality. The role involves conducting quality control tests and inspections throughout the production process to uphold quality and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Release or hold finished products, review documentation, and manage non-conforming inventory.

Support traceability, recall exercises, and maintain SAP QM and Intelex systems.

Create and manage inspection plans aligned with HACCP and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Conduct GMP audits, employee training, and behavior-based quality observations.

Participate in continuous improvement projects and special assignments.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

1–3 years of manufacturing or laboratory experience preferred.

Knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and basic food science principles.

Proficiency in SAP and statistical data analysis.
