Job Opening: Microbiologist
We are currently seeking a Microbiologist to join our team at Certified Group. The ideal candidate will study the growth, characteristics, and effects of microorganisms to understand their impact on human, plant, and animal health. Responsibilities include performing sterility testing, API strips, and various microbial tests in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterility testing and API strips
- Conduct Total Plate Counts, Enrichments, and Preservative Effectiveness Testing
- Adapt and follow procedures from industry-standard organizations
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Microbiology
- 2+ years of microbiological testing experience in relevant industries
- Knowledge of industry standard methods and procedures
- Experience with microbial testing on raw materials, water samples, and finished products
