At Nestlé’s Research & Development Center, we are driving breakthrough discoveries in food, beverage, infant nutrition, and pharmaceutical science. Backed by Nestlé’s global R&D organization, we create innovative products that are better for consumers and the planet.

As a Science & Analytical Intern, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the science and technology research process, supporting product development, testing, and method optimization. This is a paid, full-time internship designed to give graduate students valuable experience in analytical research and product innovation.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Rapid prototyping of liquid beverages with new ingredients

  • Conduct analytical testing of prototype samples

  • Analyze data trends linked to product development challenges

  • Communicate research findings through internal reports

Requirements

  • Pursuing a PhD or Master’s degree in Food Science or related field (with at least one semester remaining after the internship)

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred

  • Availability: May/June 2026 start for a 6-month duration

  • Strong skills in communication, data analysis, and organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation

This is a paid internship opportunity, with a target compensation range of $25–$28 per hour, based on skills, experience, and location.
