Educational Requirements for the Product Management Internship:
Applicants must be:
- Pursuing a Bachelorโs degree in Agriculture, Dairy Science, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field
- Currently enrolled as a student during the internship period (Spring 2026 graduates not eligible)
- Able to work 40 hours/week for at least 10 weeks
- Willing to relocate to Carthage, MO for Summer 2026
- Able to provide reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain exposure to people leadership and process improvement
- Understand production lines and operational processes
- Assist with quality, productivity, and food safety improvement projects
- Support plant leadership in achieving daily production goals
- Identify customer requirements and communicate them to the team
- Collaborate to enhance plant efficiency
- Identify and resolve process-related issues
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans
- Establish and audit PCPs, CCPs, and SOPs
- Review incidents of non-compliance and determine corrective actions
- Train hourly partners on process changes
