Position Overview
This position at Novo Nordisk in Bloomington, IN requires conducting routine microbiology testing in a cGMP compliant environment. Responsibilities include data review/archiving, maintenance activities, and process improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Independently execute cGMP Quality Control testing
- Operate basic and complex QC equipment
- Assist in authoring technical documents as QC Microbiology Scientist
- Support maintenance activities and GMP quality system
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science field with 3-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of general laboratory equipment and procedures
- Experience with GMP, SOPs, and technical documentation

- Proficient in conducting QC laboratory testing
- Experience in troubleshooting QC equipment
