Position Summary
Support the activities for reagents used in the Operations Departmentโs Clinical Laboratories. Executes the preparation and qualification of molecular diagnostic reagents. Performs Quality Control tests on new incoming shipments of raw materials and small-scale manufacturing procedures. Reviews data obtained for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.
QC Reagent Associate Job – Primary Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection and reagent release
- Coordinate labeling and prep for reagents
- Perform routine Quality Control tests on new incoming shipments
- Optimize QC workflows
- Support intra- and inter-departmental workflows
- Ensure GLP and GMP compliance
QC Reagent Associate Job – Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
- 1+ years of QC experience in a Clinical laboratory environment
- Relevant Molecular Biology and/or Cell Culture experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Adaptability in a changing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Includes lifting up to 50lbs, standing or sitting for extended periods, exposure to cold air, and working with hazardous materials. May require working outside shift hours.
Pay Range
$24.54 – $30.68 USD per hour
