Job Description:
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover impactful work as a QC Scientist I. This role involves routine analyses in a chemistry or microbiology environment, conducting internal development and manufacturing operations, and effectively communicating test results.
Discover Impactful Work:
- Conduct routine chemical and physical testing
- Perform validated test methods using various analytical techniques
- Recognize and report out-of-specification results
- Maintain compliance with standards and guidelines
A Day in the Life:
- Conduct various tests on pharmaceutical samples
- Analyze test results and communicate findings accurately
- Clean and organize the work area and instrumentation
Keys to Success:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology preferred.
Experience: 2 years of related experience
Skills: Problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Position requires physical coordination and the ability to move around office locations
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift light to medium weights
