Educational Requirements for the QC Analyst Role:
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in a scientific discipline
- 0โ2 years of basic GLP laboratory experience
- Understanding of GMP, GLP, GDP guidelines
- Knowledge of microbiology laboratory methods
- Basic LIMS training
Preferred Requirements
- BS in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry
- 2+ years of experience in a GMP QC Microbiology lab
- Knowledge of compendial methods (Bioburden, Endotoxin, Sterility)
- Experience with microbial ID systems (MALDI, MicroSeq)
- Intermediate LIMS experience
- Knowledge of FDA guidelines (cGMP, cGLP, cGDP)
- TrackWise system experience
- Lean / 6S training
Key Responsibilities of the QC Analyst:
- In this Analyst Role, you have to collect samples for Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Utilities Monitoring (UM)
- Manage EM/UM sample logistics
- Perform microbiological testing including bioburden, endotoxin, plate reading, microbial ID
- Conduct sterility testing, isolator qualification, and routine maintenance
- Enter samples and data into LIMS
- Review testing results and troubleshoot routine assays
- Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and instruments
- Support CAPA processes and assist in deviation initiation
- Assist with qualification/validation, document preparation, and onboarding tasks
- Provide general cGMP lab support
- Work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 cadence
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills Required for the QC Analyst:
- Strong understanding of microbiology techniques
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP/GDP
- Ability to troubleshoot lab assays and equipment
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in small spaces and heights >4 ft
- Physically capable of standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
- Ability to distinguish colors and hear audible cues
