Job Summary
Responsible for all assigned quality components and standards within the facility. This includes coordination with Production Supervisors, Quality Technologists, Quality techs, and support of facilitating standardization of all quality processes.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead or support quality and food safety projects with minimal assistance

Manage daily QA documentation for SQF, Organic, and Gluten-Free certifications

Coordinate customer complaints, tracking and trending issues for improvements

Oversee finished product COAs, send materials to labs for testing

Rotate and maintain file systems and manage document destruction records

Adhere to and enforce GMP standards

Stay informed on lab procedures, QA tests, and customer requirements

Drive customer satisfaction through proactive quality measures

Support future Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to analyze processes with a general understanding of the science supporting product quality
- Proven leadership skills and ability to improve teamwork
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills with experience using various software tools
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- SQF Practitioner Certification
- HACCP Training
- PCQI Certification
