About the Role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a talented R&D Scientist II to support the evaluation and understanding of device-to-tissue interactions in cardiac electrophysiology. This role is ideal for a clinical researcher with lab and device development experience who wants to drive innovation from concept to commercialization.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preclinical lab testing with project teams and lab staff.
- Design and implement bench studies to evaluate device interaction with biological tissue.
- Summarize testing results in technical documentation and communicate findings clearly.
- Support device design and development with a clinical user’s perspective.
- Analyze feedback on current products to suggest design improvements.
- Gather real-world insights through clinical site visits and physician interactions.
- Assist in internal clinical training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and product quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in life sciences, biomechanics, or biomedical engineering.
- Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a research or preclinical lab setting.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for cardiac therapies and the medtech field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with physicians, lab staff, and internal stakeholders.
