Randstad Careers- Role:
As a Research Technician – Cell and Molecular Biology, you’ll play a key role in supporting research operations within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
You will perform daily laboratory tasks including cell culture maintenance, molecular biology assays, and data documentation — ensuring that experimental outcomes align with research objectives and quality
Research Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory experiments following established SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and culture stem cells and stem-cell–derived cells using aseptic techniques.
- Perform molecular biology procedures such as qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and immunofluorescence.
- Record, analyze, and manage experimental data accurately.
- Prepare media, aliquots, and reagents to support daily lab operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and report findings to supervisors.
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards.
Technician Jobs – Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Cell Biology.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on lab experience.
- Strong proficiency in cell culture techniques, aseptic handling, and molecular assays.
- Knowledge of Western blot, flow cytometry, and RT-qPCR.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience culturing human iPSCs or differentiating them into specialized cell types.
- Familiarity with brain cell differentiation or advanced stem cell protocols.
