Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, chemistry, or other related field.
Position Overview
In this role, the Research Associate I performs assigned experiments or other related work under close supervision. This is a temporary, full-time position expected to persist through December 31st, 2025.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Receives protocol and procedures designs, and conducts experiments or other related work.
- Collates and interprets data and synthesizes results into a conclusion with guidance.
- Exercises judgment to determine appropriate actions within defined procedures and practices.
- Ability to execute experiments efficiently and suggest small process improvements.
- Recognize patterns or inconsistencies when assessing results and share with the supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
The job requires working in a lab and may require handling biological material, including blood, bone marrow, and tissue. Work occasionally requires flexible and/or extended hours.
Physical Requirements
Staff may have to periodically spend extended periods of time standing/sitting within the lab while executing repetitive work, including lifting and moving various items.
Compensation: $26.88 – $40.34 (Hourly Rate)
Possible “other compensation” elements to include: equity grant, bonus eligible
