About the Role:
A Wellcome-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Straube lab to investigate how molecular motors dynein and KIF1C organise microtubule arrays and transport intracellular cargoes. The postholder will generate knock-in cell lines, utilize live cell imaging, and prepare recombinant protein complexes.
Qualifications Required
You will have an excellent first degree in a relevant subject and either hold a PhD or have equivalent research experience. Strong scientific interest and motivation are essential.
About the Department:
You will join Dr. Anne Straube’s laboratory in the Centre for Mechanochemical Cell Biology, focusing on understanding intracellular transport and microtubule organization.
