Research Technologist Job Description
The Research Technologist II will perform complex and novel laboratory procedures with a high degree of independence under the supervision of a Principal Investigator. This role involves developing new scientific methods as needed, supporting ongoing and routine experiments, and providing technical guidance to laboratory personnel. The position is critical to ensuring the responsible, safe, and ethical conduct of research while contributing to the hospital’s mission and vision.
Research Technologist Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced laboratory procedures with independence.
- Develop and implement new scientific methods as needed.
- Guide and support all personnel in the laboratory.
- Maintain expertise in laboratory equipment, personnel management, and procedures.
