Accountabilities for Scientist Bioscience:

Expand and bank various immortalized cell lines using best practice aseptic techniques
-
Ensure high-quality control through methods such as:
-
Mycoplasma testing
-
STR fingerprinting
-
Sterility testing
-
-
Retrieve cell lines from cryogenic storage
-
Manage and ship cryopreserved cell lines nationally and internationally
-
Maintain cell line data and accurate documentation
-
Communicate across bioscience projects as Scientist Bioscience
-
Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and other regulatory standards
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Associate degree or BS in Biology, Biotechnology, or related scientific field
-
1–2 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferably industrial)

Proven hands-on experience with immortalized cell lines and/or primary cells as Scientist Bioscience
-
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety policies

Strong communication, team collaboration, and networking skills
-
Experience working across different scientific disciplines and cultures
Desirable Skills & Experience
-
Experience in cell banking and cell line quality control techniques
-
Strong documentation and database management skills

Exceptional attention to detail as Scientist Bioscience

Ability to deliver tasks on time and uphold the highest standards

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Familiarity with software such as Outlook, Word, Excel; knowledge of tracking databases is a plus
