Your Role:
As a Scientist at MilliporeSigma, you’ll be at the forefront of our 24/7 enzyme and protein manufacturing operations. Working in a collaborative production environment, you will:

Ensure consistent product quality through troubleshooting and process support

Perform complex assays and unit operations
-
Communicate deviations and support investigations
-
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and safety protocols

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QC, QA, Packaging, Engineering, and Maintenance
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
Scientist Job Opportunity at MilliporeSigma – Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and advanced laboratory operations

Support batch records, logbooks, and procedural updates

Perform equipment maintenance and reagent prep

Maintain safety and cleanliness in the lab

Identify and troubleshoot process deviations and technical issues
Scientist Job Opportunity at MilliporeSigma – Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other life science discipline
Preferred:
-
Experience with protein purification and enzymology
-
Familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis, SDS-PAGE, etc.)
-
Strong knowledge of chemical safety, lab instrumentation, and GMP/GLP environments
-
Effective communication and troubleshooting skills
-
Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs
-
Comfortable wearing PPE, including respirators and chemical protective gear
