Job Scope

Conduct, analyze, and document experiments for the development and validation of automated immunodiagnostic assays as part of a project team, under the direction of a Project Leader.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the development of new and existing diagnostic product lines.
  • Complete complex research tasks in:
    • Technology development
    • Product design
    • Test methods and material studies
    • Process investigations
    • Report preparation
  • Summarize, analyze, and interpret complex experimental data.
  • Conduct experiments for immunodiagnostic assay development.
  • Contribute simultaneously to multiple product development projects.
  • Maintain complete, accurate documentation per QSR/ISO standards.
  • Perform work following GMP and safety guidelines.
  • Analyze and present data using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Education and Experience Required for Scientist Jobs

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • 1+ year of laboratory experience (academic, government, or industry).
  • Experience in immunodiagnostic assay development preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device/diagnostics industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Immunology
    • Gastroenterology
    • Infectious disease
    • Endocrinology
    • Protein chemistry
    • ELISA-based assays
    • Laboratory automation
  • Ability to independently execute experiments in support of immunodiagnostic product development.
  • Strong self-motivation and problem-solving mindset.
