  • Position: Technologist I or II
  • Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
  • Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday | 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

  • Perform laboratory tests within various specialties following prescribed procedures.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.

  • Identify and correct basic analyzer malfunctions, notifying management when necessary.

  • Prepare reagents or media and evaluate them according to established criteria.

  • Conduct and review quality control procedures and implement corrective actions when required.

  • Maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Eurofins’ quality management system.

  • Uphold Eurofins’ business philosophy, ethical standards, and documentation practices.

Requirements for Laboratory Technician Jobs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an accredited institution.

  • Licensing requirements (as applicable):

    • California: Must hold a Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (State Department of Public Health).

    • Georgia: Must successfully complete a certification examination from ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and analytical tests following standard lab protocols.

  • Conduct quality control procedures and analyze results for accuracy.

  • Prepare and test reagents, media, and calibrators.
