The Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) is an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your career as a future operations leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Over two years, participants rotate through multiple assignments across key business areas—developing technical expertise, people management skills, and strategic insight into operations.
Thermo Fisher Careers- Program Highlights:
- Rotational Experience: Four six-month rotations covering both technical and people management tracks.
- Core Technical Rotations: Manufacturing Engineering, PPI Specialist, Process Engineer, Value Engineering.
- Core People Management Rotations: Distribution Team Lead, Production Team Lead, Quality Team Lead.
- Elective Rotations: Opportunities in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality.
- Professional Development: Executive mentorship, leadership workshops, and exposure to Thermo Fisher’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology.

Thermo Fisher Careers- Compensation & Locations:
- Starting Salary: $80,000 per year
- Additional Benefits: Annual Incentive Plan, Sign-on Bonus, Relocation Assistance
- Geographic Flexibility: Required during and after the program for rotational assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree completed between December 2025 and June 2026 in: Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 1+ year of operations-related experience (internship, work experience, or special projects).
- Strong motivation to pursue a leadership career in Operations.
- Proven teamwork, integrity, innovation, and resilience.
- Skilled at influencing and collaborating across all levels in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and executive presence.
Eligibility for Leadership Development Program:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship for employment visa status. Thermo Fisher does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, or CPT visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.
