About The Institution
Welcome to the University of Malaya, a prestigious academic institution known for its excellence in research and education. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a PhD candidate in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.
For PhD – Responsibilities:
The PhD candidate conducts advanced research to develop personalized, cell-based therapies and biomaterial scaffolds aimed at repairing or replacing damaged tissues. They integrate principles of precision medicine by tailoring regenerative strategies to individual patient profiles through interdisciplinary collaboration, data-driven analysis, and innovative experimental models. Their work supports scientific discovery, ethical compliance, and the translation of laboratory findings into clinically relevant solutions.
For PhD – Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (CGPA > 3.2/4.0) OR Master’s degree (compulsory for PhD enrollment) in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or Tissue Engineering.
- Language: Proficient in English (Written and Oral)
- Passion for research, strong self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Additional experience in either GMP or cell-based therapy-related research or Artificial Intelligence (AI) would be an advantage.
- Can start immediately.
