Position: QC Scientist II, Method Validation
About the Job
The applicant will be an experienced and highly motivated Method Validation Scientist II responsible for developing and validating analytical methods for Neurogene’s products. This role is crucial in supporting the development pipeline and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Project lead for qualification and validation of analytical methods
- Training of Validation and QC operations personnel on new test methods
- Qualification and validation of analytical methods for gene therapy products
- Authoring, reviewing, and approving validation protocols and reports
- Supporting investigations and troubleshooting of analytical method deviations
- Staying current with advancements in analytical methods and regulatory guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
- 6+ years of experience in analytical testing in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Working knowledge of CGMP requirements and typical analytical instrumentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory informatics systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
