Role Overview:

In the QA Supervisor Role, you will lead and develop assigned quality personnel, providing guidance to cross-functional teams to support the quality and food safety requirements of the products produced and shipped from the Twinsburg location. This role also supports and enforces certification, regulatory, customer, and brand requirements, implementing continuous improvement projects to meet these standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team on the manufacturing floor and QA Lab to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality and customer satisfaction, safety practices, and deadlines.

  • Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training.

  • Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.

  • Manage and support the Consolidated Management System (CMS) program, ensuring company quality assurance specifications and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Serve as the program owner, performing internal audits of the program elements.

  • Manage the processing of laboratory data, monitor for accuracy through exception reporting, analyze data, recognize unfavorable trends, and make process improvement recommendations.

  • Support and assist in audits from internal and external regulatory, certification, customer, and brand owner sources.

Qualifications:

  • Associateโ€™s degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school.

  • 1 – 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing or food industry setting.

  • Degree or experience in Biology or Food Science
  • Familiarity with lab equipment and testing within a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of sanitation and beverage processes.

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, statistical software, SAP, and Kronos.

  • Ability to multitask in team development, time management, and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk the manufacturing floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

The position is based in a noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment, typical of food manufacturing facilities.
