Life Science Jobs At GSK- Role:

As a Biomanufacturing Associate II, you will perform and support large-scale biopharmaceutical production operations, including fermentation, cell culture, purification, and filtration processes. You’ll be responsible for executing daily manufacturing tasks, monitoring automated systems, maintaining strict documentation standards, and ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements. You’ll also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, safety and compliance programs, and cross-functional investigations — all contributing to GSK’s commitment to quality, innovation, and patient impact.

Manufacturing Jobs- Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily biopharmaceutical manufacturing tasks including fermentation, cell culture, chromatography, filtration, and solution preparation.
  • Monitor critical process parameters and escalate issues for troubleshooting.
  • Accurately document manufacturing activities following cGMP and data integrity principles.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on validation, tech transfer, and safety actions.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools like SAP, EBR, and AR/VR platforms.
  • Participate in safety and compliance investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Maintain equipment, materials, and production schedules to ensure operational readiness.
  • Demonstrate GSK’s values of Patient Focus, Transparency, Respect, and Integrity in all actions.
  • Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree with experience in cGMP manufacturing, OR
  • Associate’s degree in Biotechnology or related technical field with cGMP experience, OR
  • High school diploma with 1+ year of cGMP manufacturing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven high performance in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain precise records.
  • Experience working with automated biomanufacturing systems is a plus.
