Biochemistry Job Summary:
The Assay Development Intern is responsible for participating in a team performing general laboratory operations, supporting tasks such as material inventory and general laboratory maintenance. The R&D Summer Intern will work directly with a group of scientists doing a variety of tasks related to the development of fully-automated immunoassays on Beckman Coulter’s instruments and will have the opportunity to learn real world applications of the R&D design process by completing assignments requiring independent thinking and basic analysis; in addition to documentation of studies performed. This position reports to the Supervisor of Development Science and is part of the Immunoassay Research and Development team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.

Educational Requirements for Biochemistry Job:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience (academic experience acceptable).

- In this Biological Sciences Job, you should support general laboratory operations, including material inventory and maintenance.
- Work with scientists on developing fully automated immunoassays for Beckman Coulter instruments.
- Conduct experiments, perform data documentation, and assist in R&D tasks.

Skills Required for the Biochemistry Job:
