Biology Internshipย Assignment Summary
- Conduct research and assist in the development, optimization, and validation of companion diagnostic assays using molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, and sequencing.
- Prepare biological samples, reagents, and controls while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
- Perform laboratory experiments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present data or progress reports during team meetings.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and support lab organization.
- Collaborate with scientists, quality assurance, project management, and regulatory affairs teams to meet project goals.
Educational Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science field.
- In this Life Science Internship, you’ll have coursework in genomics, biotechnology, or molecular biology preferred.
- Familiarity with pipetting, sample preparation, and laboratory equipment.
- Hands-on experience with PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA extraction techniques.
- Understanding of basic lab safety and SOPs.
- Strong recordkeeping, documentation, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
