Job Description
Zoetis is seeking an experienced Pharmacovigilance Product Database Associate to join the Global Administration Team in Kalamazoo, MI. The role involves overseeing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Global Product Dictionary within pharmacovigilance systems. You will play a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy, and consistency of product registration data used in global safety surveillance and adverse event reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of product dictionary administrators.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product dictionary matters across pharmacovigilance and regulatory operations.
- Oversee the creation, updates, and maintenance of product entries, including names, formulations, licenses, and regulatory codes.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, including VICH, FDA, EMA, and USDA.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, IT, and other teams for consistent data management.
- Support audits and inspections with documentation and subject matter expertise.
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials in collaboration with the PV Training Coordinator.
- Provide training and guidance on product dictionary usage to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 3โ5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory operations, or at least 2 years in a database role.
- Strong leadership or team management experience in a global/matrixed setup.
- Solid understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and database standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with database tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
