About the Role:

Ferrero, located in Louisville, KY, is looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead the sanitation department. The individual will ensure the implementation, validation, and maintenance of technical cleaning and sanitation programs to guarantee a sanitary manufacturing environment and prevent food product contamination in the plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop procedures for equipment cleaning and sanitation

  • Ensure the plant meets food safety and regulatory standards

  • Conduct risk-based assessments of facility sanitary conditions

  • Troubleshoot persistent sanitation challenges

  • Maintain and update the master cleaning schedule

  • Validate cleaning processes using swabs and analytical samples

  • Collaborate with vendors for sanitation services and improvements

  • Assign and monitor plant-wide sanitation tasks for hourly employees

Requirements:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of FSMA, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation protocols

  • Background in Food Safety, Microbiology, or related field (preferred)

  • Knowledge of wet and dry cleaning, COP, and CIP operations

  • Familiarity with Ferrero Quality and Food Safety processes

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Kronos, and Kleanz

  • Internal auditing and training experience preferred
